I especially love the picture, it's very amusing and captures the spirit of the post quite well.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;You make some very good points about how much (time, energy, physical resources) goes into junk mail that people are just going to throw away. I especially hate junk mail from charities, which could put the money they do receive to much better use. It's time to stop wasting our resources and focus on what's important in life.</description>

Neither group realizes that the deliberate promotion of wastefullnes promoted worldwide by the US economy, supported by the US military, does not bode well for life on this planet.  It is the logical conclusion of President Eisenhower's warning about the military-industrial complex.</description>
