Windspike- Thanks, as always, for the kind comments. (Seems like there’s a good song for most everything, eh?) If you know of any politicians lookiing for some new ideas, please send ’em this way!

David- I’ll remember your comment when I get around to addressing the concept of taxation. Thanks for dropping by again.

An honest man will see an honest wage when we do away with our current tax system and replace it with a sales tax.

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.

The song that is going through my head right now is U2’s Van Diemon’s land…

“It’s a bitter pill I swallow here
To be rent from one so dear
We fought for justice not for gain
But the magistrate sent me away.

Now kings will rule
and the poor will toil
And tear their hands
as they tear the soil
But a day will come
in the dawning age
When an honest man
sees an honest wage”

One could only hope – and we have been hoping for a long time, but your ideas are food for thought. I wonder how many folks with more than 750K in the bank will care if SS gets abolished. Or, will at the time of their retirement, 750K will really seem like 100K in today’s dollars.

Your depth of thinking on the subject is good and perhaps some politicians ougth read this and the prior posts.

Blog on brother.
