Couldn't agree more, Ken. I, too, think the increase in rhetoric and actions signals something catastrophic on the horizon.

I've been screaming about this Administration's belligerent stance toward Tehran for some time, and have until now been encouraged by the slow, deliberate position of Russia and the IAEA. Of course, the grandstanding by Ahmadinejad hasn't helped to lessen tensions - but, to even his credit, the Iranian president has also reached out to the U.S. with multiple requests for a face-to-face.

Of course, can't be talkin' with them evildoers, now, can we? I mean, "diplomacy" means interacting only with those nations we like, right?

Good God. We're in the clutches of madmen, fueled by PNAC visions of American global domination. I fear for our future.
