As we bid a final “Good Riddance” to the Bumbler-In-Chief, a little retrospective at his “legacy” is hard to resist. Yes, George W. Bush may be headed back to the obscurity of his Texas ranch…but his “legacy” will haunt us for decades…

Yes, I’m afraid he has done a lot more harm than good…especially in the world community.
His track record:
Let me see, he went to war with Iraq when most of allies favored continued sanctions, he had Colin Powell, who was arguably the most powerful black man of the time convince the world that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, prisoners were tortured and denied human rights, every nation in the world hates us and poor South American countries are now seeking aid and advice from Russia, he bungled the Katrina disaster, the stock market is a mess, home foreclosures ate at an all time high, the economy is ruined, there is no job market in the US anymore, etc.
Best thing I can say to Mr. Bush is Goodbye.

Can we recover?

Living with his legacy will be bad enough. I wish I was religious so I could believe he’ll burn in hell.
Here’s one possible bright side to his legacy: maybe it will have enough impact to keep people from repeating the same mistake during my lifetime.
